Hi, I'm Annie. I am... a writer, babbler, and music junkie. A crazy dual Pisces fish that watches far too much embarrassing TV and still believes that The Legend of Billie Jean is one of the best movies ever. A Midwesterner forever and one of those children of the 80's raised on Saturday morning cartoons, MTV with music videos, and Mikey commercials.

I write short stories, take photographs, paint, draw, and play guitar. The inappropriate cracks me up. I dig Halloween (especially making the costumes), upbeat macabre, musty old vinyl, dark rooms, live music, the moon, and meatless meals.

I live for music. I was raised on 80's New Wave (The Smiths, The Cure, Depeche Mode, and the Violent Femmes), rocked my teen angst out in flannel and Docs in the 90's (Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins, & R.E.M), and have always felt like a lost 60's flower child (The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Bob Dylan, and Simon & Garfunkel). Currently, I'm loving The Avett Brothers, Blind Pilot, and The Killers.
